Lionesses Edition England Kit Lands

Nike dropped their 2024 international kits earlier this year, but now the Lioness Edition is here.

What’s the difference between the standard and Lioness edition, we hear you say.

Well, not a lot to be honest. The most significant difference is the star that appears above the badge on the men’s jersey. The Lionesses kit doesn’t have it.

If you don’t know why the star is there then we’ll ask you to cast your minds allllllllll the way back to the last time England won the World Cup. Sadly it wasn’t last year (thanks Spain), it was the men’s team in 1966. And as a lasting reminder, they get to put a star above the badge to signify one World Cup win.

Want to get your official shirt customised?

So here’s the thing, we’ve seen a lot of comments on England’s social media from fans who want to get their women’s shirts customised with the women’s team player names. You’d have thought that would be straightforward, right? Wrong.

You can’t actually add player names of the European Champion patches to the shirts on the official England store. Enter Foudy’s.

We’re not affiliated with Foudy’s, but we have been fans from the start of their journey. Foudy’s sells official international and domestic football shirts and you can customise them to your heart’s content. They have the player names and make a big effort to source the official patches and fonts so your shirt looks as close to the real thing.

If you’ve already bought your shirt elsewhere and didn’t manage to get the customisation you so badly wanted, fear not. You can take advantage of their upcycle service.
